Concluding remarks for the Suruga Bank presents Japan Mountain Bike Cup 2026

The Suruga Bank presents Japan Mountain Bike Cup 2026 concluded its entire schedule from March 20th to 22nd, 2026. This tournament was held with the generous support of Suruga Bank and other sponsors and partners, and attracted many top athletes from Japan and abroad. High-level races unfolded in the Kids Challenge, 90-minute endurance race, cross-country short track (XCC), and cross-country Olympic (XCO).

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the athletes, team officials, competition officials, staff, and volunteers who contributed to the safe and smooth running of the tournament. We also extend our deepest thanks to the local governments and other related organizations in Shizuoka Prefecture who cooperated in holding the event, as well as to all the sponsors and partners who supported the tournament. Furthermore, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the spectators who came to the venue, and to the media representatives who helped spread the word about the appeal of the tournament.

We hope that this tournament will contribute to the further development of mountain biking in Japan and the promotion of international sports exchange. We will continue to work towards hosting even higher-quality international competitions in the future.
